Everything about this second-generation Kia Sorento is all-new, but the changes "only put it mid-pack in terms of mechanical sophistication and styling," says Chris Chase. "What really sells it, as with most Kias, is its high feature-to-dollar ratio."

The Avalon's forte is in its no-fuss, get-you-there-in-comfort road manners. Everything about the way the car moves is smooth, though you can tell it's not sporty just by looking at it. The Avalon has already impressed James as the "easiest" car he's had the pleasure of driving in a couple of years.
