Ottawa, Ontario – Transport Canada has issued its latest recalls, which may affect some Mercedes-Benz, Subaru and Mitsubishi vehicles.

2008 Mercedes-Benz CL-Class
2008 Mercedes-Benz S-Class
Vehicles affected: 79
Certain vehicles may have been assembled with an improperly-manufactured Signal Acquisition and Actuation Module. This could impede the function of the wiper system, steering wheel adjustment, headlamp and turn signal operation. Dealers will replace the module.

2002-2003 Subaru Impreza Wagon
Vehicles affected: 7,183
On certain vehicles, the liftgate stay damper bolts may not have received adequate tightening torque during vehicle assembly. After repeated rear gate operations, the loose stud bolts can cause the welded nuts to fail, allowing the liftgate to drop suddenly. Dealers will inspect and repair as necessary.

2004-2008 Mitsubishi Endeavor
Vehicles affected: 4,353
On certain vehicles, the ignition key interlock cable may allow the interlocking cam to fall forward, and allow the ignition key to be removed from the ignition when the gearshift mechanism is not in Park. Dealers will affect repairs.
