eBay Motors sells three-millionth vehicle
San Jose, California – eBay motors has announced that it has sold its three-millionth passenger vehicle in the U.S.
The milestone vehicle was a 2002 Ford F-250 pickup truck, purchased by Patricia Weidler of Otego, New York to help her husband Dan start his own construction business. To celebrate the milestone sale, eBay Motors reimbursed the Weidlers the US$8,886 price of the truck, plus US$3,000 in parts and accessories to help get the business started.
eBay Motors was launched as a formal category in 2000; a passenger vehicle sells on the site every 56 seconds.
