Toronto, Ontario – The DUVALAUTO Group has broken ground for a new Mercedes-Benz and Smart dealership that will open this fall in Boucherville, a suburb of Montreal. The ceremony was attended by Marcus Breitschwerdt, President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Canada, and Francine Gadbois, Mayor of Boucherville.

The new dealership will be built in Boucherville on Highway 20 at exit 95. It is the sixth dealership on the south shore of Montreal for Luc Duval, a third-generation member of one of Quebec’s most important families of car dealers.

The new dealership represents an investment of more than $6 million in the region and will create approximately thirty new jobs. The 40,000-square-foot complex will be one of the first automotive dealerships to meet LEED building requirements for environmental conservation of energy. The new building will accommodate more than 25 vehicles in separate showrooms over two floors, and up to 12 vehicles in its interior drive-through service area.
