Lamborghini was founded by Ferruccio Lamborghini in 1962; it introduced its 350GTV prototype at the 1963 Turin Auto Show, followed by the production 350GT.  Among the cars at this year’s show will be the earliest-known 350GT, along with earliest-known example of the Miura, unveiled in 1966, and several one-offs with special coachwork.

Balboni is currently the company’s chief test driver and head of restoration and customer service. He took his first test-drive in a 1973 Miura in 1973. “They say you never forget your first love, and that Miura was truly my first love,” he said. “It was personal to me because the car symbolized and embodied Ferruccio Lamborghini’s philosophy. It was an honour to drive it and still it is. The Miura is an icon in sports car history.”
