Dearborn, Michigan – The 2010 Ford Mustang will be revealed to Mustang enthusiasts in Santa Monica, California on the eve of the Los Angeles Auto Show, and will be broadcast the same day on television on SPEED. The event will be shown on SPEED at 11:00 p.m. EST on Tuesday, November 18.

Simultaneously with the reveal, the Mustang Club of America will host nine regional events at local movie theatres, where a special live feed of the broadcast will be shown.

“This is the day true Mustang fans have been waiting for,” said Paul Randle, chief engineer of the 2010 Mustang. “Our loyal Mustang customers have been counting down the days until we unveil the new generation of this iconic American muscle car, and now it’s our turn to surprise and delight.”

Starting Wednesday, Mustang images, including a 360-degree exterior view and a replay of the reveal, will be available on the Internet at 2010 Mustang. Ford said that the new redesign includes a more aggressive exterior design, “world-class” interior, technology including Sync, voice-activated navigation and a rearview camera system, and more power and better handling achieved through development work on the 2008-2009 Mustand Bullitt and the Ford Racing Mustang Challenge series.
