Fisker electric car dealer network includes B.C.

Irvine, California – Electric premium car company Fisker Automotive has appointed its first group of North American retailers, which will include a location in British Columbia. Fields Auto Group, one of the company’s charter members, has announced it will have dealerships in B.C., as well as in Illinois and in Orlando, Florida.

Fisker’s initial offering will be the Karma sedan, priced at US$87,900, and with the energy equivalent of 100 m.p.g. (2.35 L/100 km). The company said that 32 retailers have confirmed their intent to carry the brand, bringing the automaker closer to its goal of having 40 locations across the U.S. by the end of June 2009.
