Cherry Hill, New Jersey – The Subaru Outback has been named Motor Trend’s 2010 Sport/Utility of the Year, marking the first time an automaker has won two consecutive Sport/Utility awards following the Subaru Forester’s win in 2009.

Produced at Subaru’s plant in Lafayette, Indiana, the all-new Outback comes with a 2.5-litre four-cylinder or 3.6-litre six-cylinder engine and is built on an all-new platform. It was recently named a Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
