2010 Acura ZDX
A vehicle for the "passionate getaway," the new Acura ZDX is a four-door luxury vehicle with coupe-like styling that’s targeted at couples, empty nesters, and singles-on-the-go, says Senior Editor, Paul Williams. It goes on sale this December.

Acura RL, 1996-2004
Acura’s top model, the V6-powered front-wheel drive RL luxury sedan, has been pretty reliable over the years, but “routine maintenance and repairs on older examples can be expensive, as with many luxury cars,” says Contributing Editor, Chris Chase.

2009 Acura RDX with Technology Package
The RDX is no longer on the forefront of technology, but it is “a well-equipped package” that offers “a uniquely sporty experience” thanks to its turbocharged four-cylinder engine and “Super-Handling” all-wheel drive system, says reviewer Haney Louka.

2009 Acura TL
Its controversial nose styling aside, the front-wheel drive Acura TL is “entertaining to drive” with a “willing” engine and “satisfying” brakes, says Contributing Editor, Chris Chase. But its “pleasant interior” has a “tight rear seat and smallish trunk”, he says.

2009 Acura RDX
Though roomy and well-equipped, the Acura RDX with the Technology Package could use more simplified controls, says reviewer, Michael Clark. The Interface Dial is “cumbersome” and the steering wheel controls “have reached critical mass”, he notes.

2009 Acura RL Elite
The 2009 Acura RL has been given a fairly extensive mid-cycle makeover that includes a new engine and transmission, revised styling and new safety features. Contributor Bob McHugh calls it “a technically brilliant and a sophisticated luxury sedan.”

2009 Acura TL FWD
The redesigned 2009 Acura TL SH-AWD is getting all the attention, but don’t neglect the front-wheel drive version, says Assistant Editor Jil McIntosh. It’s quick, nimble and very comfortable, with almost all the same features, and at a lower price.

Bring It On! 2009 Acura RDX and 2009 Kia Sportage, Part 3
“In severe winter conditions, this is one of the best-handling vehicles I've ever driven,” says Paul Williams of the Acura RDX. Grant Yoxon also liked the winter performance of the Kia Sportage as well as its comfy, warm, spacious cabin.

2009 Acura MDX
The second-generation MDX’s two cutting-edge technology systems really help it stand out in this competitive class, says contributor Bob McHugh. They are Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) and Active Damper System.
