Lexus made water pump seal durability and performance improvements in late 1993 and through early 1994 (TSB EG95-004, May 1995).
Lexus made a number of brake changes in production to reduce the possibility of brake squeak in 1993 models (TSB BR94-002, April, 1994).
If the transmission slips or sometimes does not shift properly the sealing rings could be under-size (TSB 87-48, Aug 1994).
Intermittent electrical problems traced to poor grounds may cause wrong gear starts, no up-shifts, no down-shifts or falling out of fourth gear (132, Sept. 1992).
Grinding noise in the telescopic steering column was addressed with production changes, but in cars not benefiting from those changes Lexus outlined a lubrication procedure and has made available a telescopic steering pad (ST001-97, March 1997).
