Some cars driven where road salt is used might suffer corrosion of the condenser tubes, causing pinholes that allow a refrigerant leak (TSB 96-010, Jan. 1996).
If the manual transmission grinds when shifting into fifth gear, the fork, sleeve set and mainshaft gear might need to be replaced (01-070, Aug. 2001).
A whining from the rear wheels may be caused by rear bearing hub caps not manufactured correctly, allowing water to leak into the hub bearing assemblies and contaminating the bearings (97-018, March 1997).
A trunk-mounted compact disc changer that will not eject discs may call for a replacement (00-015, March 2000).
The front balancer shaft oil seal may back out of the oil pump housing over time, causing a serious oil leak leading to serious engine damage (00-073, March 2000).
Oil seepage from the front of the engine may call for a new exhaust manifold bracket onto the air conditioner compressor bracket (98-042, March 1998).
Fluid leaking from the power steering pump between the pump housing and the cover may call for a replacement O-ring between the pump housing and the cover (98-023, March 1998).
A water leak at the upper rear corner of the front doors or from the upper front corner of the rear doors may be traced to a place between the window run channel and the metal window frame (93-039, Oct. 1993).
