a rattle noise in the "B" post area may be addressed by replacing
sliding door stabilizer sockets with revised parts (235495REVA, Oct. '95);
an AC unit that blows hot air may have a control mechanism affected by a
possible shorted wire or there may be a loose or unseated 21-way connector
(211196, July '96);
anti-lock braking may periodically activate at lower
speeds due to faulty wheel speed sensors (050297, Feb. '97);
a creak sound
upon acceleration may be traced to the floorpan/dash area (230197, Dec.
'97);
look for weatherstripping that is loose (233498, Aug. '98);
oil
seepage apparently from the head gasket may instead be coming from the cam

look for water leaks onto the passenger
floor from the HVAC housing and around the backlight at the rear liftgage

the radiator fan may run after
the key is turned off or may not run at all, leading to overheating, due to
the fan relay attaching screws having broken, leading to overheating (9814,

a thump or thud or rattle from the rear of the
vehicle may be traced to fuel sloshing in the tank, for which a foam pad and
strap kit has been developed to fix the problem (020998, Aug. '98; 020997A,

an intermittent surge, buck or transmission harshness may be
related to the electronic control unit (9640, Aug. '96);
brake noise could
be traced to metal-to-metal pad contact that can be addressed with new

a possible problem with the
multifunction switch may leave windshield wipers parked improperly, or they
may fail to stop or come on by themselves (081597, April '97; 083198, June

a rough idle condition, hesitation, or lack of power may be related to

coolant seepage may be traced to
the rear heater line hose connection (240297, March '97);
the serpentine
