Honda FCX fuel cell car named 2009 World Green Car
At a New York International Auto Show press conference today, the Honda FCX Clarity was named the 2009 World Green Car. The FCX Clarity was chosen from an initial entry list of 22 contenders nominated by 59 World Car jurors from 25 countries worldwide.

New VW Golf wins World Car of the Year award
The all-new Volkswagen Golf was named the 2009 World Car of the Year at the New York International Auto Show today. The sixth generation Golf first debuted at the Paris Motor Show last fall, and made its North American debut at the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto this February.

Nissan GT-R wins 2009 World Performance Car award
The Nissan GT-R was awarded the 2009 World Performance Car award today during the New York International Auto Show. The GT-R was chosen from a field of 23 cars that included the Porsche 911 Carrera and the Corvette ZR1.

Subaru introduces all-new 2010 Outback
An all-new 2010 Subaru Outback debuted at the New York International Auto Show today. The fourth generation of the Outback offers bolder and crisper styling, and enhanced performance, comfort, and fuel economy with the introduction of an all-new chassis.

Hyundai Nuvis hybrid concept makes world debut
Blending attributes of a tall urban car and a premium utility vehicle, the Hyundai Nuvis is the eleventh concept car to be designed at the company's California Design Center in Irvine, California. The Nuvis is powered by Hyundai's Hybrid Blue Drive architecture, which uses new lithium polymer battery technology.

Kia reveals 2010 Forte Koup in New York
Kia Motors presented the global debut of the 2010 Forte Koup production vehicle during a press conference at the 2009 New York International Auto Show today. Joining the Forte family in the KMA lineup, the company's first-ever two-door coupe embodies the brand's current bold design direction.
