Hyundai shows flagship Equus at New York show
Hyundai has presented its all-new flagship sedan, the 2011 Equus, at the New York International Auto Show. The company said it will compete with the best luxury sedans in the world on all levels when it arrives at select Hyundai dealerships late in the summer.

Nissan Mixim electric car concept makes U.S. debut
The Nissan Mixim, a one-off compact electric concept car powered by a pair of “Super Motor” electric motor/generators, made its first U.S. appearance at the North American International Auto Show as part of the Michelin Challenge Design display.
Toyota debuts automatic ascending/descending seat
Toyota displayed a rotating, power ascending/descending lift-up passenger seat, called the Auto Access Seat, designed for use in the all-new 2011 Toyota Sienna minivan.
Nissan selects supplier for home-charging stations
Nissan North America announced its selection of AeroVironment to supply electric vehicle home-charging stations and installation services supporting the introduction of its zero-emission, all-electric Nissan LEAF later this year.
Chinese electric car to go on sale in US this year
The Chinese-made BYD e6 electric car was unveiled at the 2010 North American International Auto Show in Detroit today. The company says it plans to launch the e6 in the United States this year.
