- Standard power door locks with auto-locking feature
- SL trim line adds standard DVD rear-seat entertainment system; Leather Package no longer available
- Exterior colour: Sonoma Sunset added

For 2009, the Nissan Quest undergoes only minor changes: auto-locking is now standard, and the SL trim line receives changes to its standard and optional features.

The Quest uses a 3.5-litre V6 with five-speed automatic transmission. Trim lines are the S, SL and SE.

Features on the S include 16-inch steel wheels, air conditioning with second-row controls, tire pressure monitoring system, cornering lights, heated mirrors, heated cloth seats, second-row captain's chairs, third-row flat-folding bench seat, CD stereo with auxiliary input, cruise control, folding front centre table, auto up/down windows, keyless entry, and vehicle security system.

The SL adds 16-inch alloy wheels, leather-wrapped wheel with audio controls, automatic headlamps, dual power sliding doors, power liftgate, eight-way power driver's seat, six-CD/MP3 stereo, DVD system with single screen and two wireless headphones, rear audio controls, power rear vent windows, power-adjustable pedals, front centre console, auto-dimming rearview mirror, garage door opener, rear sonar system, and rearview monitor.

The SE adds 17-inch alloy wheels, vehicle stability control, fog lights, power sunroof, heated leather seats, four-way power passenger seat, driver's side memory, premium Bose six-CD/MP3 stereo, and rear-seat DVD system with two screens and two wireless headphones.

Smooth-riding and comfortable, with sliding doors that Nissan says are the widest-opening in the segment, the Quest comes with a considerable number of standard features. For all its size, though, some drivers may find the seating position cramped, due to the protruding centre stack. The premium fuel recommendation is very unusual for the segment and will add to operating costs.
