As I pulled into my driveway this afternoon my 3 year old neighbour came running down the driveway yelling “Cool Car!”. He wanted to sit in it and “drive” and couldn’t stop talking about it. The Toyota FJ Cruiser really is a love it or hate it type of vehicle with styling based on the 1960 Toyota FJ 40 Land Cruiser, Toyota has recently released this new FJ Cruiser, as an affordable truly off-road capable vehicle. Day 1:
It’s a car; it’s a truck…….. it’s a Honda? It is the much debated Honda Ridgeline! You can call it a truck or a car or an SUV with a box, or a caruck or whatever you want; I’ll refer to it as the Ridgeline from here on in. The Ridgeline is a full sized cab (5 seater) vehicle with a short box similar to the Ford Sport Trac. It is built on the Pilot / MDX chassis and is configured with a fully independent rear end; as a result it rides more like a car than a truck.

Day 1:
This week comes the special edition Volvo XC70 Ocean Race Edition, identifiable by badges, a unique Ocean Blue Metallic paint and interior and exterior trim features to continue the blue ocean theme. A dash-mounted plaque identifies the unique series number of the limited-run vehicles.

Day 1:
I picked up a Subaru Outback 2.5 Limited today and will be doing an extended 7 day blog of impressions, I welcome any feedback you may have on this format.
First impressions are always key, I wasn’t particularly pleased with the Willow Green colour but once I opened the door to the beautiful Taupe leather interior with black / taupe dash and silver accents I warmed up quickly to the vehicle.

television commercial, which will debut during hte Super Bowl on February 5.

DEARBORN, Mich., Jan. 30, 2006 - Kermit the Frog, celebrated actor, author, singer, journalist and expert on all things green, will appear in a new integrated marketing campaign for the Ford Escape Hybrid that will debut during the second quarter of Super Bowl XL on Feb. 5.
In the 30-second ad spot developed for Super Bowl XL by JWT Detroit, Ford’s advertising agency of record, Kermit will encounter the Escape Hybrid - the world’s first hybrid SUV - while exploring the great outdoors. The full story line will be kept secret until the Super Bowl. |

Gaydon, Warwickshire, — Land Rover’s Range Rover Sport has been crowned ‘SUV of the Year’ by BBC Top Gear at the magazine’s annual awards celebration hosted by Jeremy Clarkson.
On sale since May this year, the Range Rover Sport is enjoying a very successful start, with over 20,000 sales around the world and 11 awards to its name. This latest honour comes on the back of rigorous road tests and challenges set for the vehicle by the Top Gear team – from out-manoeuvring a high-performance military tank with laser-locking devices on the TV show, to conquering Dubai’s ‘Big Red’ sand dune in the magazine.
