So the Genesis Coupe isn't the most practical sports car around, says James, but what really matters here is how the car drives. And it's in that department that this car really shines, he says.

You may discuss our cover story of the day in this thread....
Special Feature:
Michelin winter tire test
Michelin X-Ice"All-season" tires may sound year-round, but they're really "three-season". Winter tires handle better, stop sooner and accelerate better, and yes, you should buy four of them. Assistant Editor Jil McIntosh spends a day at the ice rink with Michelin to see why.     More...

Of course, to most of us, that's old news.

More interesting are comparision tests instead of a Michelin "advertorial" for it's X-Ice.

Far more interesting to many Canadians would be the performance on the various road conditions we face during the winter - packed snow; centre-bare (one side on snow, the other on pavement); deep snow; slush; and yes, ice.

As ice is likely the least frequent condition, I would be much more interested in snow (winter?) tire performance in digging through soft snow, and to a lesser extent the other conditions mentioned above.

Comparison testing by an unbiased source is essential.
