A friend of mine owns one of these. Very nice, quiet and bland. Much like his personality

I still haven't been able to get used to the front end... Maybe it's  not having the 'L' on the grille... or the headlights that swoop all the way back to the A pillars like on most toyotas these days. In any event, a redesign is in order I think.

I've never liked this gen either. And they even had this puke-awful salmon colour the first year that they thought would be 'the big colour' which I had a good laugh at.

The interior was very luxurious in feel from day one. I did like that cocoon.

Lexus already has the GS to combat the problem of FWD.

I just took another look at the interior. Beautiful.

I always thought the styling reminded me of a sturgeon or an anteater.   Huh

Agreed that the exterior is nothing to write home about.  The interior is sumptuous though.  My dad's is black (ext.) with tan leather.  The TL he had before this was definitely more of a driver's car.  My mom was looking for more comfort and the seats hurt her back on long trips.

bland, soft, smooth, well built.  A Japanese buick, or older cadillac?  Specs make it look like a competitor to the TL but actually the cars are differently oriented.
