They have to meet all US standards to enter, so I think they will be beefing up the structure a bit.  It's the labour that costs them nothing.

I'd be interested in getting some feedback from somebody who actually sees this thing in the flesh.  How is the paint.  How are the panel gaps?  Interior looks?  Fit and finish?

I forgot to type that I wanted to go to Detroit was to see the Geely product, but that's one of the main reasons for going to Detroit as well. Seeing the vehicle, display, mood, etc.

Beef it up...hmmm?  Probably had to add an entire rollcage, etc.   Grin

VolksWatch will be in Detroit for Press Days, too. Looking forward to it.  Cool

Rumor has it VW's compact SUV, Beduin, will debut. But we'll believe it when we see it!

Beduin... yeah, when Chicken Wings fly. I'd like to see the Cross / Golf Plus come up here pronto though. And they can keep the Fox, but bring the Polo Smiley

I'll be making the drive to Detroit... yep, I'm an auto enthusiast  ROFL But just as a lowly attendee.

Hyundai paying for your hotel, eh? No end to the smoozing I see. It's little wonder consumers question the bias of auto articles.

I've heard rumor that Acura will unveil the RDX at Detroit as well. I would appreciate it if someone could post a photo of it as I doubt it will make it to Toronto. Any details - engine, interior would be greatly appreciated. Grin
