Day-by-Day Review: 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8GT; Day 3
So the Genesis Coupe isn't the most practical sports car around, says James, but what really matters here is how the car drives. And it's in that department that this car really shines, he says.

You may discuss our cover story of the day in this thread....
Used Car Review:
2000-2005 Buick LeSabre

2001 Buick LeSabreA used Buick LeSabre offers a reliable V6 powertrain, reasonable fuel economy, good crash safety, and a comparatively low price, says Chris Chase.  "Sure, most people younger than 60 think the LeSabre is about as cool as polyester slacks in summer, but other than that, there's not a lot to say about this big car that's not positive."   More...

A great car indeed, and as of 06 it has great looks to go with that reliability.  GM is not all negative, people, in Ottawa I'm starting to see quite a few on the street.

My dad has a 2000 Le Sabre and let me tell you it may not be the most exciting of rides but it's definately solid, the drivetrain is bullet proof and it's a very comfortable ride. This is one GM product that deserves more credit as it has all the hallmarks of being a standout contender in it's segment. If you compare it to say the Japanese equivalent (the Toyota Avalon) and you actually drive both it becomes very clear that Toyota used it as benchmark and came up way short. The Le Sabre is much more solid, has stronger brakes, handles better and is generally a more substantial car all around. With GM pushing the Allure with the same basic architecture it bodes well for them as they build a loyal clientele around what is a solid value in the mid sized catagory.

The LeSabre and Century/Regal are excellent used car buys in my opinion. Solid cars with good reliability and comfortable ride. A good cushy point A to B car.  Thumbs up

It is what it is - a solid car that appeals to an older set.  That's fine.  It's GM's inability to attract a younger buyer that has them in trouble.  The 97 LeSabre in my grandparent's garage just keeps humming along, even after grandfather drives over curbs with it.

The curb jumped out at him, you see.

My grandmother drives over medians and such...then laughs about it later. There is a pronounced hump in the left rear footwell where she obviously ran over something.  Shocked

Edit:  Be on the look out for a navy blue 1992 Mercury Topaz driving 15 km/hr below the speed limit.
