So the Genesis Coupe isn't the most practical sports car around, says James, but what really matters here is how the car drives. And it's in that department that this car really shines, he says.

You may discuss our cover story of the day in this thread....
Test Drive:
2007 Audi A6 4.2

2007 Audi A6 4.2The Audi A6 4.2 is a car that "has it all", says Jamie Hunter. "When you want a sports sedan, you won't find it lacking in any way; when you want to look the part of the successful executive, it's a powerful statement; and when you want to take the family away for the weekend, you'll have more than enough comfort and room to keep even the most fickle travellers at bay," he reports.

Audi's head designer Walter de' Silva described the company's design philosophy as wanting "to appeal not only to the mind, but also to the heart and, as such, to people's emotions."

Looks as dull dishwater to me. A nice car I'm sure but like almost all Audis no gotta have it factor for me. So Walter looks like you failed.

Unlike the previous A6, this generation actually looks pricey and a true comparable competitor to the E and 5-Series. Looks far more solid, and has enhanced its own unique grace and style. Very well done IMO.

Inside, particularly like the driver's side leather (and/or stitched to look like leather) instrumentation cap.

Very nice car, but the lack of an MT would take me to the BMW dealership and a look a the 5 series.

I am not sure if the 4.2 comes with a manual anywhere...but here in NA the v6 doesn't come with one either.
