2007 Dodge Nitro SXTPowered by the same 3.7-litre V6 used in the Jeep Liberty, the Nitro SXT is "neither punchy nor explosive," says Contributing Editor, Chris Chase. "Rather, it's quite average in terms of acceleration...and fuel consumption was disappointing," he reports.  Still, the Nitro's unique styling is "a welcome change from the ordinary," he notes.

Saw a Nitro on the road for the first time the other day. Man are they playing the 'man-looks' card. I think it's on the ugly side of things and with such horrific mileage, one wonders what will draw buyers to them.
