Day-by-Day Review: 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8GT; Day 3
So the Genesis Coupe isn't the most practical sports car around, says James, but what really matters here is how the car drives. And it's in that department that this car really shines, he says.

Yeah it's a lot of money, especially the 2006's and they didnt even look nearly as nice inside.  We bought the 06' XC90 over the 06' X3....But if i was comparing the 07's, I think I would choose the X3... Considering both vehicles are around the same price point and BMW comes with maintenance included whereas the XC90 doesn't.... Overall, I like it, they improved it by far

Also, when i test drove both engines on the 2006 x3 i was really impressed...it drove like my 3 series... I'd imagine the 2007 3.0si will have an ambundance of power and will be even more fun to drive than the previous X3's!

X3 pricing is in the same range as an XC90!
Now that means the X3 is really expensive!

I'm just glad a compact SUV with MT still exists... Tongue

There's also the Hyundai Santa Fe, the Jeep Patriot, and the Subaru Forester.

Yes, I know, it was a joke about how they are getting few and fewer...

The XC90 competes with the X5 and ML in size.

I heard Volvo was bringing out the XC60 to compete against the X3.
The X3 is no larger than an CX-7 or RDX.

Yes, that is true. However, I personally was looking at both the XC90 and the X3 because they were within the same price range.  We went with the Volvo because it was better appointed inside.

When I was checking out a GTI a few months ago at a VW Dealer, I sat in the Touraeg and I was actually impressed. It looks very nice inside.  But I've read reviews that the V6 is sluggish. I can't pass judgement for myself as I haven't test driven it! Mind you the 5cyl turbo in our volvo takes awhile to get up to speed.  Isn't the touraeg due for a redeisgn soon?

Welcome to Canada.  Why do you think everybody in the US drives a nicer can than the Canadians?

Also because in the US, the income tax rules are more lenient regarding the writing-off of interest (eg. interest paid on home mortgage is deductible). This is a large advantage in leaving more disposable income in the average person's pocket.
