This coupé is one hellava sexy bargoon for a sporty luxury car. 335i Touring, please  Grin

Why can't I configure Lemon on the Coupé? Sedan only.
Sedan: Deep Green or Monaco Blue over Lemon
Coupé: Montego Blue over Saddle Brown, but more likely Alpine White over Coral Red   Yum Yum

Are the RUN FLATS Compulsory......!!!??? Sad...keep hearing Bad Things about them..........................Man that is some car fer the MONEY.

yes they are and there is nowhere to put a spare without filling the whole trunk. Some people have bought the "M mobility kit" that comes with the M3. Compressor and a can of goop to seal a puncture and then got 4 conventional tires.  AFAIK after you have filled the tire with that stuff it cant be repaired so you may as well have run flats.

But if you wreck one half way between Sudbury and Thunder Bay, how long do you have to wait for a 245/35-18VR runflat to be delivered and will the local Freds Tire and BBQ be able to even mount it ?
 hmmmmmmmm  a bad idea for a big empty place like Canada, these run flats

James, what colour is that?

I've been looking at a variety of colour combos at www.bmw.ca but it's so hard to tell when it's not in the flesh.

I like the Montego Blue on Black/Titanium (or Saddle Brown Dakota, Walnut)
Maybe Monaco blue on Black/Titanium or Walnut (or Saddle Brown Dakota, Walnut)
Black on Black/Walnut or Titanium or Poplar (or Coral red, Poplar)

I have seen the Montego blue and black in person.  Has the Sparking Graphite changed for '07?  The 330Ci Graphite looked kind of purple.

Argh...so many decision...thank god I have time to decide  Roll Eyes

That 3.0L turbo sounds like it breathes fire into this demon.

I just feel sorry for those who bought the 330i Sedan only to have the 335i shoot out soon after.  Then again, I'd also feel sorry for the M3 buyer given this 335i coupe!

I never ever feel sorry for anyone who can afford a NEW BWM, any NEW BMW.  Smiley

Very nice vehicle. Don't think I will actually consider buying one regardless how much I like it tho. Not enuff RAW appeal to me in terms of a sporting machine. I see MiniVan in my future tho.  Smiley

Coupe just doesn't look as good from the back, which is what most people will see. I'd go for the Arctic white sedan with Lemon Dakota and Walnut wood trim.. if I can afford it.  Drool

Should be an even more interesting fight if those auto-journalists remember that the G is priced against the 328i, not the 335i.  Too often, auto-journalists get stuck in the "someone else's money" mindset and ignore vast price differences between similarly-equipped "competitors."

That's for the manuals though, which Infiniti charges a premium for as it's only available with the Sport trim. An auto G35 Coupe stickers for $47,200, with Sport Autos and MT at $50,6.

The BMWs are competitively priced.

My friend took delivery for his 335 coupe sometime in february (circa 328i alternatives thread). Montego Blue with beige leather and i-drive.

Its an amazing ride, extremely refined, but will break your neck if given the oppertunity. I've seen him throw it around insane corners, handling speed, performance and luxury. The most well put package I've ever seen.

Btw, from rolling stop, its faster than the e46 generation M3.

I may well buy one in 2008 or 2009.
I'd buy the 4 door, red with tan leather and a 6spd of course. I am not sure I would buy the sport package. ....
However,  I might go for the terribly boring  Silver, Black leather and sport JUST BECAUSE it is worth more at trade in time

$5000 is considered low.
Back then the 2005 330i/330ci fully loaded with sport and luxury packages hit $60,000 mark!
Which made the price difference around $10K!

No doubt when "usual" options are tacked on (sport package, dakota leather, etc), the price of a 335i will likely be about $8k higher than that of a G37 Coupe.  But why does no one ever mention depreciation?  Looking at resale values (or residual, if leasing), the difference in price will be absorbed and the actual dollars out of your pocket will be about the same. 

The 335i is one hell of a car for the price (even if it is $60k).  With the hp wars going on, maybe the power will be pumped even higher by the time I look at one (about 2 years).

I can't deny the beauty (looks) and beast (mechanics) sense that Bimmers exude. I simply don't see how I could justify spending this kind of $$ on something that depreciates over time, and requires cash outlays in upkeep. I suppose if I had money to burn, then I would probably feel very different - but for now - I just don't see myself ever putting out that kind of moola on a car. It is a beauty, though.
