Day-by-Day Review: 2009 Audi A3 2.0T quattro S-Line
After weeks without driving anything "sporting," James hops into the driver's seat of the lightly redesigned 2009 Audi A3. Fun indeed, and with quattro all-wheel drive and a set of winter tires, the perfect vehicle for winter time.

Nice looking truck.  The VQ engine allows it to compete head to head with the Dakota and Tacoma power-wise.  Where are Ford and GM?

The Chevy Colorado is pretty small in person.  Anyway, if a midsize truck like a Frontier/Tacoma/Dakota is just as inexpensive as a true compact pickup (and all other things equal, they are, to my knowledge), and just as fuel-efficient (which they appear to be), what's the advantage of a compact pickup over a midsize?

Hers--2007 Toyota Tacoma SR5 4x4, double cab, long bed, 5-speed auto.

Just another CTC member sick of the never-ending flamewar between a few Toyota and GM fanboys.

Moving target. The new 2008 Dakota V8 has 300HP and 320 ft/lbs torque and better fuel economy than the outgoing 4.7L. That being said the VQ 4.0L has good power although the torque is at too high a rpm (281 @ 4000rpm) for a truck motor and it is not as smooth as a V8.
