So the Genesis Coupe isn't the most practical sports car around, says James, but what really matters here is how the car drives. And it's in that department that this car really shines, he says.

I'm interested in purchasing a used Roadtrek 190 B-Class van. This vehicle is not on the RIV list. However I was told that, because it is a conversion van, if the title says "Chev/Dodge/Ford (etc) Van" it can be brought into Canada.

Does anyone here have any experience with this? Will customs just go by the title? How would I find out? Who would I ask? Also, is there any way to get this added to the RIV list?

Any help appreciated.

It would seem to me that the obvious thing to do would be to go to www.riv.ca and either email them your question or call the 800 number.

As Roadtrek is a manufacturer it looks like you are sol.  I checked to see if they were owned by one of the admissible mfrs but it appears they are an independent company.

But you could call Roadtrek and ask why they are inadmissible... maybe they have never had it come up before.  I dunno

Home And Park appears to be a Canadian company in Kitchener.    I presume that the price differential between a used one here and a used one in the USA is enormous to make it worth the bother.

..as an aside...I'm amazed at the err ROADBLOCKS...DETOURS..and DELAYING TACTICS   OUR!!! Gov seems necessary to throw in our right to free passage...OH HELL I'll be Honest...I'm NOT.....surprised.....; the Bureau needs ta be fed Daily...so the lines can be jammed....and after 100 call backs they'll say "well we will have to actually have the vehicle personally inspected in Nunavik @ your expense"....
