Yep, it's an option... it's called a mesh grill here and a sport grill in the US.  Even at the steep price, I think it's worth it as it makes the front end look MUCH better.

Wow, the White WRX Sedan looks very nice. BUT the World Rally Blue one doesn't though...WRB definitely kills the look of the sedan.
