Day-by-Day Review: 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8GT; Day 3
So the Genesis Coupe isn't the most practical sports car around, says James, but what really matters here is how the car drives. And it's in that department that this car really shines, he says.

I think most of you would reconsider your vote if they looked like this:

A station wagon is a station wagon.  I don't care if you call them SUV, SAV, SUW or COV or POS.  They're still station wagons.  You either like 'em or you don't.  If calling it some fluffy name makes you happy, then great.  I own a Honda Fit.  It's a little station wagon and I'm OK with that.

I'm reconsidering my vote. That looks cooler than a lot of today's sedans  Smiley

When does a hatch become a wagon?

I seem to recall a thread about that question...  something to do with where the rearmost pillar is, or where the back windows are, or something, was the consensus, iirc.

I guess there are very few topics that haven't been discussed by now.

I recall starting that thread some time ago….a search found nothing….that must be broken as well.

Bah, I love it.  Seems like everytime you say the search is broken, I turned up the answer in 1 second.

Search for "Hatch + Wagon"  boom second result.

I like wagons - of course there is a wide variaty of them - I own a Taurus one which is deeply uncool. Others like say 60s Nova, Datsun 510, BMW 3-series, Mazda 6 are cool.

Because it looks for the word and, try just hatch + wagon

EDIT: WAIT WAIT WAIT

Let me guess, you scrolled up, typed it in the little box.

FYI that box only searches the CURRENT thread or BOARD you are on.  Not the entire site.  Click the little magnifying glass and use the advanced search and you can search the entire site.

That's a feature, I spent about 4 hours adding that feature ... like 2 years ago.  Otherwise you cannot search a single thread.  Like if you wanted to find in a 10 page thread where someone posted that link you were looking for.  It's a great feature to be able to search within a thread.

Wagons are cool because I brought my clubs to work to hit some balls at the driving range after work then stopped and bought a lawn mower on the way home.

I don't mind wagons at all.  As some others have said, I find the Mazda 6, Jetta and Audi wagons quite pleasing to the eye.

My future car will likely be a hatch, though, only because of my insignificant space requirements.
