Day-by-Day Review: 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8GT; Day 3
So the Genesis Coupe isn't the most practical sports car around, says James, but what really matters here is how the car drives. And it's in that department that this car really shines, he says.

IIRC his kids legs still fitted into kid seats.

...which is precisely what one finds in back of the 911, and which are a whole lot more useful to some people (i.e., parents of young children) than no seats at all.

In the modern global economy, the "nationality" of a car brand is a meaningless construct.

Yeah, I'm sure the market of parents with young children looking at $100 000+ sports cars is just thriving.

Let's face it: for the majority of new Porsche buyers, the rear seats do not enter in the equation.  I'd wager a vast, vast majority of people buying a new 911 never use the rear seats for anything but their briefcase.

The 911 offers 345 horsepower and four seats (though two are best suited to kids or cargo) while offering the same fuel economy as the 245 hp, two-seat Cayman.  How's that for ya?

That remarkable power-to-fuel-economy ratio doesn't come cheap.  Neither does making a four-seater handle as well as most two-seat sports caras.

Good on ya to take a position...some people agree...and I see that some people don't!

My wife has had 3 Boxsters and a 911 Carrera (sp?) Great cars all. We haven't had a Cayman yet.

Fwiw we've had many roadsters, and the therapy comes from putting the top down and driving. Loved all the cars.

Along the way we've had an RX-7 convertible, and 5 Miatas. Their pricing seems to be crazy for a new car, and lately we've chosen to buy virtually new, but used Boxsters.

Porsche sells about 1800 new cars per year in Canada according to the corporate speaker at a PCA club meeting we attended in Toronto. Obviously they're not going to change the world at that rate.

anyone interested in Boxsters might like to take a look at " Porsche Pete's Boxster Board " .  Good people there.
