Day-by-Day Review: 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8GT; Day 3
So the Genesis Coupe isn't the most practical sports car around, says James, but what really matters here is how the car drives. And it's in that department that this car really shines, he says.

Test Drive:
2009 Kia Borrego EX V8

2009 Kia Borrego EX V8The Borrego V8's combination of "serious off-road and towing capabilities and interior comfort are tough to find for less than my tester's $45,145 asking price," says Contributing Editor, Chris Chase.   All it needs is a "more compelling wrapper", he says.

The lack of angle adjustment on the head rests is odd.  My Sorento has that and mine is a first generation model (2003).

I think Canadian Driver should consider changing it's title to Obsolete Driver. Today you tested 3 large SUV's which may or may not be a coincidence. The fact that you'd waste time discussing vehicles that very few could afford and I'm sure many who could wouldn't bother, appears that either your all out of touch with today's market or your being paid off to promote hard to sell vehicles.

Why Kia was even allowed to bring another large SUV into this country has to be based on either a lack of intelligence at Kia or poor planning on the part of the federal government to even allow a company to sell another useless large V8 SUV. Now that gas prices have dropped to their lowest levels in some time, it doesn't mean that the oil crisis is over and so now we can all go back to fuel sucking vehicles.

Random, how does the headrest adjustment work on your truck? I just picked up a Magentis tester today and discovered by accident that it has adjustable headrests. I suspect I might owe the Borrego an apology if it uses the same type.  Embarrassed

The headrests move in two ways:  up/down as most do and one can tilt the headrest forward by pushing on the top of it.  It is on a ratchet system which means that it continues to tilt towards the driver until it reaches the end of its possible motion at which point it can be released back to the upright position.

I don't know if that is restricted to the front seats only but I suspect that is the case.

Okay, then the ones in the Magentis are the same. I'll talk to Kia and try to find out if the Borrego's are adustable too. Thanks for your input!
