Day-by-Day Review: 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8GT; Day 3
So the Genesis Coupe isn't the most practical sports car around, says James, but what really matters here is how the car drives. And it's in that department that this car really shines, he says.

Day 1:

2009 Audi A4 3.2
I'm sure all my readers feel horrible for me: having to give up the Audi A6 last week certainly was a heart breaker, but lucky for me, to ease the transition away from that car, Audi was generous enough to put me into a 2009 Audi A4 3.2 quattro for the week. Sometimes, life can be difficult.  More...

I think we've seen the whole Audi lineup on here... from the A3 to the A6, TT, RS4.. - guess the A8 is missing.

Was the 4 banger A4 on a week review previously?

A4 3.2 = weaksauce.  Go for the 2.0T or reach for the S4.

You heard it here first.

James,

There seems to be something amiss with your tester:  The interior shot makes it seem like the folks in Ingolstadt forgot to install the 3rd pedal on the driver's side.

Is this another instance of shoddy Audi build quality?

I just wish Audi would stop putting those ridiculous lights on every model, they look OK on the R8, they look like christmas tree decorations on everything else...

I'm not a big fan of the re-design. I think it has grown too large and looks less aggressive. The V6 is also quite a bit weaker than most of its competitors, combine this with Audi's typical high curb weight, and the performance is below average..

Agreed about the A4, but I think they look great on the A5 and models above.

LOL. Such a tough life you lead.  Tongue This should be interesting week considering  you've just step out of a, A6. You have to ask is this A6 worth the extra expensive after week in A4. I'm sure you you will know by the end of the week.  Smiley

Worse, to me.  They make the car look like a cheap streetwalker with too much eye makeup.

The A4 is a beautiful.
For the money I don't see why you would pick the v6 over T2.0 since it seems to be the better platform.

I actually think it looks quite good. BMWs have angel eyes... Audis have this thing..

And that's what kills me about them.  They seem very derivative and contrived.  To me, they just screamed "BMWs have Coronas, we wanted something too."  They're trying too hard.  Quite a change from the much older A4s, which were too understated in my opinion.  I think that the B7 A4 had the aesthetic balance just right.  Not to brash, not too dull:

I have always been a huge fan of the A4 when it comes to interior and exterior styling. I even got to drive Jeff’s shiny new one in weasing 1.8T trim Smiley .

With Audi making advancements in reliability I would like to revisit the A4 Avant as a possible option but I just wish there was an affordable 250 HP version. I’m not sure one can safely take a 2.0 to 280 HP which would not reach my 300 goal but the styling would make up the difference.
