Day-by-Day Review: 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8GT; Day 3
So the Genesis Coupe isn't the most practical sports car around, says James, but what really matters here is how the car drives. And it's in that department that this car really shines, he says.

I sense a deep seated and, imo, relatively undeserved bias at work here.

That's what we're all about. Smiley

A few years back, I was looking for a compact car to put my business logo on, tested drove the Fit/Yaris, also a Mini Cooper Classic. Needless to say, I ended up ordering a Cooper S. The Fit/Yaris are of great value at the base models, however, when well equipped, they are no longer that attractive as a package. The Mini Classic was a bargain (in early 2006) to me.

I couldn't live with the likes of a Fit/Yaris if either one is my only car.

...

Side note, off-topic. I could not get my land lease, signed with the original landlord, the commercial property were sold to Ontario's Teacher's Credit Union Pension Fund management group, I got booted out before my lease was effective. And the Mini order got screwed up, no DSC, so I didn't take the car, and ended up started something else.

I'm also surprised that Greg objects to HO comparing the Yaris to the Fit, but has no objection to comparing the Yaris to a BMW 135.   Huh

I have no idea what you are talking about. I never mentioned any BMWs. I was merely commenting on HO's habit of hijacking every thread and turning it into a treatise on the Fit.

I think that the accent hatch base model is better looking than the Yaris and $3000 less. Reliability is equal or better on the Accent and fit and finish is also great. The Accent drives very nicely and is reasonably quiet for a small vehicle. Have been delighted with my 4 door Accent and will probably trade in for the 3 door sometime. Demos... is right and it is a no brainer. Any trade-in hype is taken care of up front and there is a great warrenty. It's a no brainer.
