So the Genesis Coupe isn't the most practical sports car around, says James, but what really matters here is how the car drives. And it's in that department that this car really shines, he says.

Edmonds just picked the Camaro over the Mustang and Challenger:

Wasn't that in March...?  They did pick the Shelby GT500 over the Hennessy Camaro recently.

Hey Everyone !

So let me get this straight, the 2010 Ford Mustang GT 5-speed got the same in-town fuel economy as the 2010 Ford Fusion SEL V6 ? ?

I dunno - it was on their rotating banner on the home page, so I assumed it was something new.

Not a surprise coming from Edmunds. Not that the Camaro isn't better, but Edmunds doesn't seems to like Fords very much.

Track Pack II now on the Canadian web-site...$2100.

Not sure if there are any out there to drive yet or not.  As Rrocket pointed out, this is the package that the US mags have been raving about...which makes sense.  The '10 GT I drove left me wondering what all the raving was about...but it had only the Track Pack I.

There is also a Track Pack II option listed by Ford that includes:
• Dual piston front calipers
• Performance front & rear brake pads
• Performance 3.73 axle ratio
• Unique front strut and rear shock tuning
• Strut tower brace
• Unique front sway bar
• SVT rear sway bar
• SVT lower rear control arms
• Unique ESC Module tuning
• 19" Painted Aluminum Wheels with Unique 19" Pirelli
Summer-Only Performance tires
• Tire inflator kit replaces spare tire

I'm #1 on the list when and if my local dealer gets on in...to test of course.

Rrocket had a good idea to drive the GT500 to get an idea of what the GT with TPII would handle like.  Heck, why not just get the GT500!

Holy schmoly...I checked out the Ford Racing pages...and there are a tonne (metric you know!) of Mustang parts you can buy that come with a factory warranty.

However....since you are into "light is right"...the GT500 tip[s the scales at nearly 4,000 lbs.

Of course, I went to drive a GT500 today (I did call ahead to tell them I was coming)...and was denied.

"No test drives...you must just buy the car".  What if I don't like it, I asked...to which I got a shoulder shrug.

They say they're getting 12 per dealer...and they believe they can sell them all...and no employee pricing on them thank-you very much.  This chap did say the owner (of the dealership) had one...so maybe I'll call back another day.
