Day-by-Day Review: 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8GT; Day 3
So the Genesis Coupe isn't the most practical sports car around, says James, but what really matters here is how the car drives. And it's in that department that this car really shines, he says.

Great deal.  I would go with synthetic oil and skip the rust-proofing.

Corrosion Protection

Saturn vehicles are designed and built to resist corrosion. All body and sheet metal components are warranted against rust-through corrosion for 6 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. Application of additional rust-inhibiting materials is not required under the corrosion coverage and none is recommended. See your Saturn retailer for terms of this limited warranty.

My brother is considering the Astra.  Saturn is advertising the XR 3dr in the Montreal Gazette for $12,995 ($8800 rebate) - it's well equipped and looks quite nice

That really sounds like a great deal for the Astra. I may consider buying one as well.

I use Mobil 1 in all my cars and I swear by it. It costs a little more but I have never even had to adjust the valves on my 1996 Civic. I have checked them several times and not one has ever been out. Honda recommends that dino oil be used for the first two changes, btw.

Great buy.  They sold out of the XE models quickly last weekend.

Huh
If the question is about parts, GTA-driver post earlier somewhere, that GM will have to keep part for the car for a number of years

Or hang out with Bob.  I had a visitor over from Britain for Thanksgiving dinner.  She asked to put her stuff in my boot.  It took me a few moments to realize she meant trunk and not my footwear.

Parts can be always be obtained.  It depends on how resourceful one is.  Smiley

Pulled the OEM shoes off the Astra today and replaced with Goodyear Tripletreads (took the OEMs for a lease vehicle that needed new rubber but is going back soon) and then got the T-40 Krown treatment done!
