Day-by-Day Review: 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8GT; Day 3
So the Genesis Coupe isn't the most practical sports car around, says James, but what really matters here is how the car drives. And it's in that department that this car really shines, he says.

Next generation retreads.  Except instead of a new tread glued on, the tires are remoulded/recured/revulcanized.  Still a used tire at heart.

That's crazy... but the all season rubber must harden like heck at freezing temperatures, I don't see the carbide bits providing significant traction, someone try gluing bits of sandpaper to a hockey puck and see how how much better it is on ice. Which Blizzaks did they compare it with, the performance LM-25?

I like the fact that recycled = gallons of oil saved... always good to reduce oil consumption and carbon footprint little by little...

I've used them when I lived in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.  A retread...yes.  However, they were incredible.  They remained soft even when the mercury dropped to -30.  In fact, I travelled over the Cabot Trail in the middle of winter after a major snow storm and never lost traction once.

My big question is - are they permitted in Ontario??
