Day-by-Day Review: 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8GT; Day 3
So the Genesis Coupe isn't the most practical sports car around, says James, but what really matters here is how the car drives. And it's in that department that this car really shines, he says.

I think he doesn't realize he's about to be fired from his auto assembly job, one way or another.

Ahh, to be 20 again and know you don't need that stinkin' $70k a year job, there's lots out there for semi-skilled production workers.

It would be interesting to know the background behind this, some disgruntled employee seems to think he has a legal right to video and post on youtube his disciplinary meetings.

Methinks he's better suited for a job at GM's Oshawa plant.

Showing up with a video camera is really a way to encourage good communication with your employer. The manager acted with great restraint in my opinion. This twit was shown the door, which he deserved. This fool should have counted himself lucky to have high paying semi-skilled work.

Even more indicative is this one:

Listen to the guy's tone.

How is he "fighting back"?

He's sent emails expressing concerns. They offer to adress the concerns in person. They tell him he can't videotape it. He refuses to stop so they send him home.

All I heard was that it was regarding ATTENDANCE.

The guy is being a twit. If he is concerned he doesn't have "representaion" then why didn't he hire a lawyer and schedule a meeting with the employer and a lawyer present. I'm sure the company would agree to have house council attend.

I don't see how he's fighting back. I don't see any example of Honda doing anything wrong (maybe they did but there is no proff at all in the video).

If he doesn't like his job there are 1000s of out of work Autoworkers that will be lined up for it.

Wow, this guys is quite the twit playing the game and pushing buttons. Seen a few of them when I worked at the bank that felt the company owes them everything. Hope he isn't looking for sympathy over the internet.

Here is your hat, there is the door.....see ya.

Anybody who has worked in a dealership has seen this type, a big NDPer union type who thinks the company should kiss his butt and how he should get all the gravy jobs, get paid to find cars on the lot, etc. They are best shown the door ASAP.

The subject here should be: "Soon to be ex-Honda Employee Fights Back". Wink

Very confrontational, horrible tone. HCM should cut ties with this guy ASAP.
