When I bought my Fit, I considered the Specta 5. But with no side or side curtain airbags and having to buy a pricey option pack for ABS, it was out of the running.

Wow! It's pricey for a very outdated vehicle by today's standards. I hope this gets replaced soon, hopefully with the European C'eed.

WTF were they thinking??  Huh Kia REMOVED safety equipment that's standard almost everywhere else? This is the kind of idiocy that sinks car companies.  Roll Eyes Shocked

I think Kia better explain this. Absolutely shocking!!!  Shocked Especially when you read the blub from a Kia Dealer:

2007 Kia Spectra and Spectra5

"Enhancements Inside and Out Improve Sporty Compact Sedan and Five-Door

For 2007, the Kia Spectra compact sedan and Spectra5 five-door enter their fourth year on the market by offering exterior and interior upgrades to all trim lines (LX, EX, SX and Spectra5 SX five-door). Both vehicles continue to offer sporty styling, class-leading safety and a plethora of standard features all at a tremendous value"
