Kia

2010 Kia Forte Koup SX
Generously equipped for its price range, the two-door Kia Forte Koup SX has a decent amount of rear seat legroom and headroom for a coupe, a good-sized trunk, and "no access issues" under the hood, says interior reviewer, Michael Clark.

Preview: 2011 Kia Cadenza
Replacing Kia’s flagship Amanti sedan, the all-new Cadenza will make its official debut at the Kuwait International Automobile Exhibition in early December, reports Brian Early. It should arrive here sometime in 2010.

2010 Kia Forte Koup SX
Though it’s not as “racy” as a Civic Si, the new Kia Forte Koup SX is “surprisingly quick and entertaining enough to drive,” says Contributing Editor, Chris Chase. It’s also a good value, he says.

2010 Kia Forte Koup
A coupe version of the recently introduced Kia Forte sedan, the new Forte Koup “offers a nimble and engaging driving experience,” says Senior Editor, Paul Williams. Competitors include the Ford Focus, Chevrolet Cobalt and Honda Civic coupes.

2009 Kia Sportage LX V6 AWD
With performance and pricing that's closer to its four-cylinder competitors, the Kia Sportage V6 has the advantage of a smoother, quieter powertrain, says Editor-in-chief, Greg Wilson - but it's "not as fuel efficient," he notes.

2010 Kia Soul 4u
It’s important to remember that Kia’s cool-looking ‘halo’ vehicle is an economy car, says Contributing Editor, Chris Chase. “But what the Soul lacks in mechanical refinement it makes up for in its smart dimensions and interior packaging,” he notes.

2010 Kia Forte
Replacing the Spectra, the all-new 2010 Kia Forte is a “home run” by comparison, with better fuel economy and handling, and great value in all trims, says Contributing Editor Chris Chase. But it needs better-quality interior materials, he says.

2010 Kia Soul
The new Kia Soul “is one of the freshest automotive designs in the past decade,” opines Senior Editor, Paul Williams. Ranging in price from $15,495 to $20,995, the Soul is available with two four-cylinder engines, and goes on sale this month.

2009 Kia Borrego EX V6
The all-new Kia Borrego is a competent SUV, says Assistant Editor Jil McIntosh, but it’s one of many competent SUVs in a crowded field. She drives the V6 model and finds a smooth engine but a really rough ride.
