Toronto, Ontario - Following a redesign of the 2002 Acura NSX, Acura Canada has announced pricing for the mid-engine sports car. The 2002 Acura NSX has a suggested retail price of $142,000.

For 2002, fixed position High Intensity Discharge headlights replace retractable halogens found in the 2001 model. The NSX was also restyled for a more aggressive stance with a new bumper, chin spoiler and hood line for the front fascia. In the rear, a new bumper, turn signals, air diffuser, Acura badging, exhaust finishers and a trunk lip spoiler enhance the performance look. While the cosmetic changes update the style, it also resulted in improved aerodynamics by reducing drag coefficient from 0.32 to 0.30.

With higher front spring rates and a larger rear stabilizer bar cornering performance of the NSX is improved with less body roll. Tire size was also increased from 215/45R16 to 215/40R17 in the front and from 245/40R17 to 255/40R17 in the rear.

All 2002 NSX models are now available in two new additional colours, Long Beach Blue Pearl and Imola Orange Pearl. Also available are six new colour-matched interior leather colours; Vivid Blue, Vivid Red, Vivid Yellow, Vivid Orange, Targa Silver and White, on top of the standard Ebony and Tan.
