Nissan unveils full-size Pathfinder Armada SUV, Titan Crew Cab pickup
It also offers standard curtain supplemental air bags that help provide rollover and side-impact protection to all three rows; more 2nd row legroom than any other full-size SUV; flexible 8-passenger seating and cargo utility; and standard rear independent double-wishbone suspension and Vehicle Dynamic Control for stable handling and passenger comfort.
"But along with performance, roominess and safety, a key reason most people buy full-size SUVs comes down to the versatility these vehicles have to enhance active family lifestyles. And here again, the new Pathfinder Armada excels," said Jed Connelly Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing Nissan North America. "The Pathfinder Armada will be offered in six well-equipped models, including a rugged off-road package. It will be priced competitively against vehicles with much less style and much less innovation."
The Pathfinder Armada goes on sale this Fall.
Nissan also showed a four-door crew cab version of its new full-size Titan pickup truck.
"What really sets the Titan Crew Cab apart from the field… and what customers in this segment want most… is space," said Connelly. "The Titan Crew Cab offers more interior space and more rear seat legroom than all competitive crew cab models."
The Titan rides on an all-new truck platform featuring a fully boxed all-steel frame, and offers a 300-plus horsepower Nissan Endurance 5.6-litre V8 engine. Nearly 90 percent of Titan's 375-plus pounds-feet of torque is available below 2,500 rpm where it's needed most.
Titan is designed to tow 9,400 pounds.
The Titan's available side curtain supplemental air bags help provide rollover protection for front and rear outboard passengers.
