Ford introduces three new 2007 models

Dearborn, Michigan – Ford has announced three new 2007 models: the Ford Expedition, Lincoln Navigator and Lincoln MKZ.

Taking its design cues from the F-Series truck, the 2007 Expedition will be available in a regular-length and extra-length Expedition EL. Features will include all-new independent rear suspension; six-speed automatic transmission; five different wheel styles in three sizes; raised "powerdome" hood; new dual-beam headlamps with integrated side marker lights wrapping into the fenders; redesigned seats; and available power liftgate, navigation system, rear-seat DVD system and satellite radio.

Based on the Expedition, the new Lincoln Navigator will also feature an extra-length version, the Navigator L, with available third-row seating.

The Navigator adds a new grille, extending into the high intensity discharge headlamps and integrated fog lamps. Other features include available 20-inch chrome wheels, power-folding running boards, power-adjustable pedals, next-generation heated and cooled front seats, and available power liftgate.

The MKZ, a revamp of the new-for-2006 Zephyr, will continue as Lincoln's entry-level offering, but with a more powerful and efficient 3.5-litre V6, six-speed transmission, more performance-oriented driving character, and available all-wheel-drive.
