Bridgestone shows first Indy 500 winner in Chicago

Chicago, Illinois – At its display at the 2006 Chicago Auto Show, Bridgestone is featuring appearances by racing legend Mario Andretti and current Indy 500 champion Dan Wheldon, as well as the 1911 Marmon Wasp that won the very first Indianapolis 500. The Wasp wore Firestone tires during the race.

Andretti was on hand to announce the Safety Scholars program, a new component to Firestone's comprehensive safety education program. Beginning in April, students can visit www.safetyscholars.com to download tire and driving safety information.
