Introduced at the Detroit Auto Show and the Montreal International Auto Show, the Fit will enter the Canadian marketplace as Honda's entry-level offering, slotting in under the Civic. The five-door hatchback is scheduled to go on sale April 1st.

The Fit features a 1.5-litre engine that makes 109 hp, mated to a five-speed manual transmission or first-in-segment five-speed automatic. It will be offered in three trim levels, with the top-of-the-line Sport featuring wheel-mounted paddle shifters (with the automatic), underbody kit, rear roofline spoiler, fog lights, security system with keyless remote, cruise control, leather-wrapped wheel and 15-inch alloy wheels.

The Fit offers an incredible amount of interior space for its size, with numerous possible cargo and passenger configurations thanks to its Fit's Magic Seat, an innovative 60/40 split rear seat that allows the seatbacks to fold down or the seat bottoms to flip up.
