2008 Green Car of the Year to be announced at the Los Angeles Auto Show
The winner of the 2008 Green Car of the Year (GCOY) award will be announced on November 15 at the Los Angeles Auto Show during the show's Press Days. Green Car Journal, a leading automotive environmental magazine, initiated this annual award in 2005.

2007 is the second year that LA auto show has been held in the Fall Last year, for the first time in more than 30 years, the LA Auto Show was held in the fall rather than early January, attracting more exhibitors and more worldwide and North American vehicle debuts.

General Motors has released a photo of the redesigned 2009 Pontiac Vibe hatchback which is built on a similar platform to the 2009 Toyota Matrix. The new Matrix has not yet been revealed.

2009 Jaguar XFLA show to feature 40+ World and North American debuts
The 2007 Los Angeles Auto Show will feature at least 14 World debuts and nearly 30 North American debuts, announced the organizers. The cars will be unveiled to the media first on November 14 and 15, before being revealed to the general public Friday, Nov. 16 through Nov. 25, including Thanksgiving Day.
