2007 Lexus LS460Lexus LS460 named 2007 World Car of the Year The Lexus LS460 has been named 2007 World Car of the Year, following an announcement at the New York International Auto Show. The LS460 was chosen from an initial list of 28 contenders worldwide, and from a final list of three that included the Audi TT and Mini.

2008 Subaru ImprezaSubaru debuts all-new 2008 Impreza and WRX Subaru unveiled the all-new 2008 Subaru Impreza 2.5i and its performance variant, the Impreza WRX at the New York International Auto Show. The new Impreza features a larger platform, more interior room, and standard curtain airbags on all hatchback and sedan models.

2009 Ford FlexNew Ford Flex crossover to be built in Canada Ford has unveiled the all-new Flex crossover at the New York Auto Show. The 2009 Flex will go in sale in the summer of 2008 and be built at Ford's facility in Oakville, Ontario. The new vehicle is the production version of the Ford Fairlane concept vehicle that debuted at the 2005 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
