2009 Mitsubishi Galant Sport
Chicago, Illinois - Mitsubishi Motors North America is showcasing the new 2009 Mitsubishi Galant midsize sedan at the Chicago Auto Show, alongside new performance models and the Concept-RA sports coupe.
The 2009 Galant introduces new styling spearheaded by the Sport editions. The company is also showing the updated 2009 Eclipse coupe and Spyder models, with revised front and rear styling, dual exhaust on V6 GT models, standard active stability control, HID headlamps and new large rear spoiler.
Also appearing together, as they did at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, are the 2009 Lancer Ralliart and 2008 Lancer Evolution. Rounding out the display are several classic models that trace the brand's performance heritage, including a 1989 Eclipse coupe, a 1996 Eclipse Spyder GST turbo that was the one- millionth vehicle produced at the company's Illinois facility, a 1982 Starion turbocharged rear-drive performance coupe, and 1972 Galant GTO prototype.
