Barenaked Ladies to perform at Detroit Auto Show charity preview

Detroit, Michigan - The Canadian pop band Barenaked Ladies will perform at the 2008 North American International Auto Show's (NAIAS) annual black-tie Charity Preview in Detroit on January 18, 2008.

"We're thrilled to have the Barenaked Ladies perform at Charity Preview; it promises to be a standout event," said Carl Galeana, senior co-chairman of NAIAS 2008. "We've also received word that some manufacturers plan to feature some A-list celebrities, adding even more excitement and glamour to our gala than ever before."

The Charity Preview benefits local children's charities, which supply goods, clothing, health and support services to Detroit youth. Tickets are US$400 each and can be obtained by calling 1-888-838-7500 or visiting NAIAS.com.
