Uniquely styled four-passenger electric vehicle has fuel cell to help extend driving range up to 483 km (300 miles): One of three Chrysler electric vehicle concepts unveiled in Detroit today, the uniquely styled Chrysler ecoVoyager Concept has a lithium-ion battery pack that provides a driving range of 64 km (40 miles).

A surprise unveiling was the two-door Cadillac CTS Coupe concept car which features all-new sculpted bodywork aft of the front fenders. The Coupe has the same wheelbase as the CTS sedan, but an overall height that is approximately two inches (51 mm) lower and an overall length that is two inches (51 mm) shorter, giving it a lower, sleeker profile, and a more aggressive stance.

Saturn Vue Green Line Plug-in HybridSaturn Vue Green Line Plug-in Hybrid
Saturn announced that a plug-in hybrid electric version of the Saturn Vue Green Line, expected to be the first regular production plug-in hybrid electric vehicle, may go on sale as soon as 2010. This Vue Green Line will use a modified version of GM's two-mode hybrid system and plug-in technology, a lithium-ion battery pack, highly efficient electronics and powerful electric motors to achieve significant increases in fuel economy.

Roomy, innovative Opel-derived concept car runs on electricity but uses diesel motor to charge battery - can also be charged using 115-volt home outlet: Saturn's close ties with GM's European Opel division are once again evident in the Flextreme concept electric vehicle which first debuted as an Opel concept at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show.

Boost in horsepower and newly available six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters highlight changes to '09 CTS-V: Following the introduction of the all-new 2008 CTS last year, GM has unveiled the redesigned high-performance CTS-V model which will go on sale in the fourth quarter of 2008.
