2009 Audi A4
One of the most successful Audi models of all time, the A4 moves into its fifth generation with the all-new 2009 model. The new A4 will go on sale in Canada in the fall of 2008.
The A4 is designed with new proportions when compared to the outgoing model, with a shorter front overhang, and longer hood and wheelbase. This translates into improved interior space and comfort, but despite its increase in size, it is lighter than its predecessor, with a more rigid body and improved safety characteristics.
The A4 will feature two gasoline engines with direct fuel injection, for supreme performance with fuel consumption better than the engines they replace. Its dynamic suspension and many other technologies have been adopted directly from larger Audi luxury vehicles.
"The new Audi A4 will quickly become the new way to drive," said Diego Ramos, Executive Vice-President of Audi Canada. "Combining high equipment levels, economical and powerful engines, Quattro all-wheel drive, plus a host of technological advancements, the 2009 A4 will set the standard for its competitors to follow."
