Canadian-only Honda S2000 Spa Yellow Pearl is $53,000

Unveiled at the Canadian International Auto show in Toronto, the limited-production Honda S2000 Spa Yellow Pearl will be available in Canada for a manufacturers suggested retail price of $53,000 plus freight and PDI. It's scheduled to go on sale April 1, 2001.

Standard equipment on this special version of the S2000 includes a colour-matched removable hardtop and a car cover.

Like other S2000's, the S2000 Spa Yellow Pearl has 120 horsepower per litre, the highest output of any naturally aspirated mass-produced engine in the world, and the capability of meeting California's Low Emissions Vehicle standards.

The S2000 is built in Japan at the Takanezawa plant alongside the Acura NSX.
